                               SWORN  TRANSLATOR’S  OFFICE

                                        Leon Kurasz, MA – appointed as sworn translator in  1988

The Office, located in the very centre of City of Białystok at  31/33 Lipowa Street, apt. 19,
has been running since 1991.

Through the years it has been my pleasure to :

• translate thousands of documents from Polish into English and from English into Polish, including
  agreements and contracts regarding the performance of multimillion business projects as well as
  brief official statements and private correspondence;
  

• act as an interpreter at scientific conferences and workshops, business meetings; civil and criminal
  proceedings and trials, police investigations regarding thefts, assaults or road accidents involving
  foreigners; customs clearance procedures; inquiries held by the border guards; wedding ceremonies
  celebrated in  the civil registry office; processing applications for permanent residence in Poland,
  and other official procedures.

The broad knowledge I have acquired and years of practical training I have experienced underpin and
ensure the highest quality and accuracy of  translation as well as a flexible approach to and fair treatment
of the client.
